Boss’s solo motorcycle trip to Hokkaido 2023, extra edition
今回で2年続けてのハンターカブと北海道一人旅でした。前回に困ったことを思い出し、ちょっとした工夫をすることで大変便利だった物を五つ紹介します。
This was my second year in a row traveling alone in Hokkaido with my Hunter Cub.
Remembering the problems I had last time, I would like to introduce five things that were very useful with a little ingenuity.
その1 透明ビニールで密封した北海道地図
雨に強いのは、勿論、小さく折り畳んでも破れる事が無いので、その日の行動範囲を一目で確認できます。
No. 1: Hokkaido map sealed in clear plastic
Of course, it is rainproof.
Even when folded small, it will not break.
You can see at a glance the extent of the day’s activities.
その2 携帯がたのメガネ
「東急ハンズ」で買いました。この歳になると、地図を確認するにも、老眼鏡が必要になります。ヘルメットをしたままでも、メガネを差し込む事が出来るので地図確認は、バッチリ！
No.2 : Portable spectacles
I bought them at Tokyu Hands.At my age, I need reading glasses to check a map.
I can insert my glasses with my helmet on, so I can check the map just fine.
その3 粘着テープを少量巻いて持つ
粘着テープは、色々使えます。携帯電話の雨対策や自撮り棒の固定など。1メーター程を小さく巻いて2個持ちました。
No. 3 : Wrap a small amount of adhesive tape and hold it.
Adhesive tape can be used for many things.
It can be used to protect cell phones from rain, secure selfie sticks, etc.
I rolled up about 1 meter into a small roll and had two pieces.
その4 サイドスタンドのしたに敷く厚み10ミリの小さな板
写真を撮りたい時。バイクのスタンドを立てる場所が砂利では、スタンドが立てられず駐車できませんよね。そこで、10cmX 15cm程度の板片を用意しました。ただし、バイクを駐車する時は、路面の角度に気を付けてください。バイクが転倒する危険があります。
No.4 : A small board 10 mm thick to be laid under the sidestand
When you want to take a picture, if the place where you want to stand the motorcycle is gravel, you cannot stand the motorcycle and cannot park it.
Therefore, I have prepared a piece of board about 10cm X 15cm.
However, please be careful of the angle of the road surface when parking the motorcycle.
There is a danger of the motorcycle falling over.
その5 ゴム付きの小さなメモ帳
ちょっとした場所の名前や、感動したこと柄を書き留めるのに便利です。今使っているページにボールペンを挟みゴムを掛ければ、直ぐに開きたいページを開けるし、ボールペンは、落ちないし、コレは便利でした。
No. 5: A small notepad with an elastic
It is useful for writing down the names of places and things that impressed me.
You can put a ballpoint pen between the pages you have used, and then just hang the rubber band to open the page you want to open immediately.
The ballpoint pen doesn’t fall out, so it was very convenient.
帰りのフェリーからの夕日です。台風が近づいて来ているので、船が少し揺れるかな。と思っていましたが、すごく快適でした。酔い止め薬を飲んだせいかな？
This is the sunset from the ferry on the way back.
I thought the boat would be a little bumpy because of the approaching typhoon, but it was very comfortable.
Maybe it was because I took anti-sickness medicine?
