Boss’s solo motorcycle trip in Hokkaido 2023 Day 7 Finally, the last day!
お付き合い頂き「ありがとうございました。」いよいよ、最終日の北海道となりました。本日夜の23時30分小樽港から西日本海フェリーで離れます。舞鶴到着は、明日21時15分。フェリーに乗って暫くすると、携帯が使えなくなるので、今日は、少し早めのブログとなります。

Finally, this is my last day in Hokkaido.I will leave from Otaru Port at 23:30 this evening on the Nishinihonkai Ferry.Arrival in Maizuru will be at 21:15 tomorrow.
Since my cell phone will be out of service for a while after I get on the ferry, I will try to upload my blog a little earlier today.
昨日の天気予報では、道南地方は、曇りのち雨。ちなみに、道北は警戒級の雨と言う事で心配ですね。私は少し早めに行動。いつ雨に会うか分からないので、ニッカウイスキー醸造所でも寄ってお土産買って、ショートカットで早めに小樽港に着く予定にしました。天気がもてば、少し寄り道出来ると良いなあ！と言う事で、支笏湖の南側を276号線で順調に走行。美笛トンネルの手前右側に細い道があり、寄り道してみました。
According to yesterday’s weather forecast, it was cloudy and rainy in the southern part of Hokkaido.
Incidentally, I am worried about the weather in northern Hokkaido, as it was an alarming level of rain.I started a little early.Since I didn’t know when it would rain, I decided to stop by the Nikka Whiskey Brewery to buy some souvenirs and then arrive at Otaru Port early without stopping anywhere.
I was driving smoothly on Route 276 on the south side of Lake Shikotsu with the thought, “I wish I could take a little detour if the weather is nice!
I found a narrow road on the right before the Bifue Tunnel and decided to take a detour.
雨も無く「支笏湖とハンターカブ」が撮れました。脇道を入って300メーター程で右に未舗装の細い道があります、そこを慎重に走行すると2分程で支笏湖が見えて来ました。少し分かりずらいかも。ちなみに、真っ直ぐ3キロメール程行くとキャンプ場がありますが、完全予約制でゲートが閉まって入れません。お気をつけて！
It didn’t rain, so I was able to take good pictures of Lake Shikotsu and my traveling companion, a Hunter Cub, together.
About 300 meters into the road, it is a narrow unpaved road on the right side.
Drive carefully and in about two minutes I saw Lake Shikotsu.It may be a little confusing.
By the way, if you go straight for about 3 km mail, you will find a campground, but it is by reservation only and the gate is closed and you cannot enter.Please be careful!
余市町への途中「名水の郷京極」道の駅に立ち寄りました。羊蹄山から80年かけて湧き出た名水でいれてもらったアイスコーヒーを堪能しました。うまい！
On the way to Yoichi Town, I stopped by “Meisui no Sato Kyogoku” Roadside Station.
I enjoyed an iced coffee made with the famous water that has been gushing out of Mt. Yotei.It was delicious!
余市町に一年ぶりに着きました。ニッカウイスキー醸造所。お腹が空いたのでレストランへ。
I arrived in Yoichi Town for the first time in a year.Nikka Whiskey Brewery.
I was hungry, so I went to a restaurant.
「玉ねぎのシンプルパスタ」と「リンゴのほっぺ」のジュースをいただきました。オシャレなお店でした。味も抜群！
I had a simple pasta with onions and a juice named “apple cheeks”.
It was a stylish restaurant.The taste is also outstanding!
NHKのドラマ「マッサン」で有名になったけど、竹鶴政孝さんて本当に魅力的な人ですね。美人のリサを連れて帰って来るのも、イケてますね。
Masataka Taketsuru, made famous by the NHK drama “Massan,” is a really charming man.
It is also cool that he brought back the beautiful Lisa.
さて雨が心配で早めに小樽に着くことにしました。雨足が強くなって来ました。雨をしのぐ軒先のある駐車場や喫茶店、サウナ。など無いか探してましたが全く分かりませんでした。なんせ、軒下が無い！探してみると無いものですね。雨の中、フェリー乗船の行列に並ぶと思うと、嫌やあー！皆んなどうしているのか気になります。
Well, I was worried about rain, so I left early to arrive at Otaru.
But the rain started to come down harder on the way.
I was looking for a parking lot, coffee shop, or sauna with eaves to shelter myself from the rain, but I couldn’t find any.No eaves! I guess it’s not there when I look for it.
I hate waiting in line to board the ferry in the rain!
I wonder what everyone else is doing.
私は、半地下の雨がしのげる駐車場を発見して安堵して入ってみるとバーが開いてくれません。「バイクの入場はできません。」やて！何故！何故！もう！哀しい！
結局、舞鶴でもお世話になった「コメダ珈琲」にお世話になりました。バイクは濡れっぱなしですけど。小雨になって来ました。良かった！
I found a semi-subterranean parking lot.
I thought, “Finally, I can get out of the rain,” but when I entered, the bar wouldn’t open.A sign warned, “Motorcycles are not allowed.”
Why? Why? It was so sad!
In the end, I took shelter from the rain at “Komeda Coffee,” which I had also entered in Maizuru.
But my motorcycle was still wet.As I stayed in the rain, it gradually started to drizzle.
Thank goodness!
今回、雨に結構あいました、天気だけは、どうにもなりませんよね！荷物もあるし。雨対策の大切さを改めて感じました。
小樽のフェリー乗り場には、少し軒下が高いけれど雨が少ししのげる場所があります。皆さん、ご安心ください。
It rained a lot on this trip.But I can’t control the weather by myself, can I?I also have luggage.
I was reminded of the importance of rain preparation.
The ferry terminal in Otaru has a place to shelter from the rain, though the eaves are a little high.Don’t worry, everyone.
フェリーに乗ってから、今回の「社長のバイク一人旅北海道 2023」の番外編を作ります。1週間こんな社長にお付き合いをいただき、ありがとうございました。皆さんにも、そして快く送り出してくれた社員、家族。みんなに、感謝感謝です。今後の製品作りに必ず活かして行きます。新しい製品案が幾つか思い描けています。コレからも大久保製作所「アンブート」を宜しくお願いします。
