Boss’s solo motorcycle trip in Hokkaido 2023, Day 3
バイクで出発して5分もしない内に大粒の雨。朝一番、いきなりの雨の洗礼を受けました。農協さんの軒下で雨宿りさせて頂き、また、また、カッパを着込んで小雨が降るなかの再出発！今回の北海道は、何回雨に遭うのか、覚悟がいるみたいですね。「これもバイク旅の楽しさ、楽しさ。」と自分に言い聞かせながら、、。
Within five minutes of our departure, it started raining heavily.
I was suddenly baptized by the rain from the morning.
After taking shelter from the rain at JA, we put on our raincoats again and started out again in the light rain!
How many times will I get rained on this time in Hokkaido?
Maybe the trip will continue with the resolve to “keep traveling = rain.”

目指せ！稚内！何故今まで宗谷岬に行けなかったのか。不思議です。275号線と40号線で、北上！途中、降ったり止んだりの雨との戦いがやっと終わったのが美深町に入ってからでした。周りを見る余裕が出来て、ビックリ！見渡す限りのお蕎麦畑に感動！

I wonder why I never made it to Cape Soya before.
I took Routes 275 and 40 to the north!With that love.It rained on and off throughout the trip.
The rain finally subsided when I entered the town of Mibuka.
When I finally had enough time to look around, I was surprised!
I was impressed by the buckwheat fields as far as the eye could see!
40号線を北上して豊富町を過ぎるころ、稚内市に入ると沢山の風力発電でビックリ。
Traveling north on Route 40, I passed through the town of Toyotomi and was surprised to see many wind power generators as I entered Wakkanai City.
遠くに風力発電のプロペラが見えますか?「緑と青空」これぞ北海道！やっぱり北海道は、凄い！

Green and blue sky – this is Hokkaido!
Hokkaido is great after all!
右端に「利尻富士」が見えますか？利尻山は、かっこいいですね。
Can you see “Rishiri Fuji” on the far right?Mt. Rishiri is cool.
やっと野寒布岬に来たどー！
Finally, I came to Cape Nokanpu!
稚内公園の中にある稚内森林公園は、無料でテント、バーベキューが楽しめるよ。管理人のおじさん達のおかげで綺麗に保たれています。最近無料で楽しめるキャンプ場が少なくなってきてるものね。ありがたいですね。
Wakkanai Forest Park is located in Wakkanai Park, where you can enjoy tents and barbecues for free.
Thanks to the maintenance men, it is kept clean and tidy.
I am thankful that there are fewer and fewer campgrounds where you can enjoy free camping these days.
