新日本海フェリー乗り場まで行くぜ！ハンターカブ！と意気込んで出たらいきなり生野峠で土砂降りの雨の洗礼。ものの30秒で下着までビッショ濡れ！
Anyway, let’s go to Maizuru Port!
I’m going to the Shin Nihonkai ferry terminal! My buddy (Hunter Cub)!
I set out with great determination, only to be suddenly hit by a downpour of rain at the Ikuno Pass.
Within 30 seconds, I was soaked to the skin down to my underwear!
夕立は、15分位で小雨になりました。良かった〜！
The evening shower turned into a light rain in about 15 minutes.
Thank goodness!
そこから約1時間半、6時過ぎに舞鶴市に入りました。
小腹も空いたし、服も乾いたし、少し早目の夕食にします。
と、やっぱり、結局ラーメンになってしまいました。
After about an hour and a half from there, I entered Maizuru City a little after 6:00 pm.
My clothes were dry and I was hungry, so I decided to stop by for a little early dinner…ramen, after all.
少しピンぼけ。申し訳ありません。
豚骨ラーメンがお勧めの「ラーメン一丁」に入りました。刻みネギは、入れ放題。キムチを少々入れると、絶品ですよ。
ほんと美味しかったです。

I entered “Ramen Itcho,” where pork bone ramen is recommended. I can add as much chopped green onion as I like.
Add a little kimchi and it’s excellent. It was really delicious.
ラーメンの次に、少し引き返す方向に「コメダ珈琲」があったので閉店の9時まで時間調整しました。この写真も少しピントがズレてますね。申し訳ありません、今後気をつけます。
After leaving the ramen shop, I went back a little and found “Komeda Coffee” so I adjusted my time until 9:00 p.m. when the store closed.

さあて、フェリーターミナルのカウンターで予約の確認をしてバイクの行列に加わります。大阪や京都、愛媛のナンバーもありました。ざっと50台程かな？
Now, I confirmed my reservation at the ferry terminal counter and joined the line of motorcycles.
There were also some license plates from Osaka, Kyoto, and Ehime.
Roughly about 50 bikes?
何故かフェリーに乗り込む時。少し緊張してしまいます。
係の方の誘導にしたがって横一列。
綺麗に駐車できて、少し誇らしい気持ちになりました。
Somehow, I get a little nervous when boarding a ferry.
I followed the attendant’s guidance and lined up side by side.
I parked the bike neatly and felt a little proud.
冷房の効いた船内に入ってホット一息！今日は、気温36度以上あったと思います。バテバテ！皆さん、暑さに気をつけてくださいね。
I took a break in the air-conditioned cabin!
I think the temperature was over 36 degrees today. I was quite exhausted!

番外編。実はコメダ珈琲を出た時にツールバックを開いたら、予想もしなかった事に、社員から励ましと応援の手書きメッセージと折り鶴がコッソリ忍ばせてありました。
ありがとう。感激です。

When I opened my tool bag upon leaving Komeda Coffee, I found a handwritten message of encouragement and support from an employee and a folded paper crane tucked inside.I was very surprised, but also very happy, because I did not expect this.
